Darwin: 200

Expect lots of TV and radio programmes on Darwin and evolution this year to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth and the 150th birthday of the publication of On the Origins of Species. In Our Time starts the BBC's celebrations with a major Radio 4 series on Darwin's life and work. Presented by Melvyn Bragg the first part is broadcast on Monday 5th Jan at 9 am and it's repeated at 9:30 pm. The next three episodes are broadcast each day and the series finishes on the 8th Jan.

The website is really useful and has links to lots of resources on evolution and evolutionary explanations of human behaviour. The Open University's website is well worth a look. The 'Devolve me' activity is especially fun.
