Joseph LeDoux is a neuroscientist and a rock star. He is the author of the Emotional Brain and works at New York University. His research investigates emotion, memory and the brain, especially traumatic memories. He is an expert on fear and anxiety disorders. His band the Amygdaloids describe themselves as 'Heavy Mentalists' and write tracks called: the Mind-Body problem, An Emotional Brain, All in a Nut and Memory Pill. We could all do with one of those.
