The Emerging Mind
"The main theme of our lectures so far has been the idea that the study of patients with neurological disorders has implications far beyond the confines of medical neurology, implications even for the humanities, for philosophy, maybe even for aesthetics and art" (V.S. Ramachandran, 2003).
The 2003 Reith lectures were given by the neuroscientist Vilayanur S. Ramachandran. All the lectures are worth a listen, especially the final lecture: Neuroscience - the new philosophy.
